This project was the longest and most time consuming, I messed up everything in the Animation at least five times and still couldn't put it together, I wish I did more rotoscopy but by the time I figured out how to do the project I did not have time to add more to it. At least I learned a lot about photoshop while doing this and now I know what a real animation looks like while watching what everyone else did I realized what I had done wrong! I also had to add Audio to it using GarageBand which was pretty simple and straightforward and I like the way the sound pulled it all together. Youtube Link: https://youtu.be/X1clIdizEbg
I liked this project but it took a lot of tries to find a good match with the lighting because I was unsure how to change the lighting of just one layer and not the other. I tried to put myself in the full house family, on the cover of frozen, at the table in mean girls, and I even made another copy of myself at whistler but standing on my board. Overall I am proud of my final product at the top of whistler in Canada because this is somewhere I really want to go and I actually see myself being and placing myself here using photoshop makes me want to take this picture there. The hardest part was finding the right match to work with but once I found a good match it was smooth sailing. This project took me about 2 1/2 hours to complete but I personally think it ended up working really well besides the minor focus issues that I had with the stone next to me.
I chose to depict my struggle with SAD, or Seasonal Affective Disorder. I used brighter colors and a smile to show how I am when it is not late fall or winter, and darker colors with a sheet of rain to show how affected I can be by the weather or what time of year it is and how sometimes I completely shut down. My skin gets more pale and my hair gets darker along with my life. I'm proud of my final product because I think it really shows my biggest struggle in life.
